Programs for working with phones on a PC

Oxygen Phone Manager

The most functional program for working with Nokia phones. Supports a wide range of models and outperforms even the official Nokia PC Suite package in terms of the number of features. In addition to working with contacts and SMS it can activate Net Monitor, supports uploading/downloading ringtones, logotypes, JAVA-applications, voice records etc. Unfortunately, it's paid and the authors made a very complex licensing, so it can't be used legally now (license servers are disabled). Here is the latest version, which has a crack that allows you to use OPM without restrictions (completely covers all old business devices and not only).
Other versions (including newer ones, but with limitations) can be downloaded HERE or HERE (external source).

After installation, copy opm.exe and launch.exe from one archive to the program folder. If you have Windows 98, you need to install a patch from another archive. Run launch.exe to generate/update (when a new phone is connected) the key file. Then you can run the program as usual.

LogoManager

One of the most popular in its time programs for working with phones. Its main purpose initially is Editing Logos, however, it also includes: Ringtone Editing, SMS Operation, Contact Management, Net Monitor Activation/Deactivation , View Phone Password(not everywhere) and more. Of course, in terms of functionality, it is inferior to OPM, but nevertheless, for its tiny size (against OPM), this is a very good program. Also paid, so crack is attached.
For more modern devices, there is an improved version - LogoManager Pro Suite.

The archive includes latest version, crack, rusificator, Phones Picture Pack to display on the main screen.

gnokii

If you're a fan of *NIX systems (although gnokii is also available for Windows) and don't want to mess around with connecting your phone, or just prefer a console, this is what you need. The main functionality is approximately equal to LogoManager, you can even view logos with pseudo-graphics (however, with stretching in height). The latest version was released in 2011.

The project also has graphical shells - xgnokii and gnocky.

gnokii is open source software, so it is completely free.

Gammu

A fork of gnokii. A little more functionality, as well as support for phones (including fairly new ones) from other companies. New versions are released periodically (latest in 2020). There is an extensive database with program configurations for a specific phone and connection method.

Of course, there is also a graphical shell - Wammu (on Ubuntu 22.04 it's not compiling to me for some reason).

Gammu, like gnokii, is also open source and distributed free.
