Test 38 – Memory Dump / Reset by page fault (active)

Available in: Nokia debugging firmware, unknown models.

This test allows a selected portion of memory to be viewed.

4 Lines: 48 hexadecimal digits corresponding to a contiguous 24 byte memory dump starting at the specified memory address. Memory is read the way you would read a book (left-right, top-bottom).

The starting address is specified by entering the required 24-bit address in hexadecimal into the name (alpha) field of SIM location 30. To find out how to store specific values to SIM memory see “How to write number to a specific SIM position?”. An example: for address 0x0C89AB enter 0C2089AB value there...

Once the address is entered, jumping to this test will update the display with the new memory region.

This display rather is not included in offcial firmware. It can be switched on by defining flag DEV_FT_MEMORY_DUMP_IN_USE in ftd_conf.h.
